Commenting upon the awards, Damien and Roy said “It is extremely humbling to be in company with so many extraordinary and inspiring individuals, not only our fellow laureates BUT the attending guests too.

We are so very grateful that our vision, and the hard work of Credo Care’s dedicated staff and carers, and the immense difference they have made to the lives of so many children and young people over the past 24 years, has received this prestigious recognition. We are proud to accept the Award and dedicate it to all those children Credo Care has been privileged to care for.”

The awards are given in honour and celebration of life and humanitarian ideals of the Philippines National Hero José Rizal.
