Full time – 37.5 hours per week, based in Lydd.

Credo Care is a well-established and leading Independent Fostering Agency, based in Lydd, Kent and specialising in the care of children with additional needs.

As a Communications Assistant at Credo Care, you will support the Marketing & Promotions Officer to deliver on the daily activities of our internal and external communications programmes. This varied role includes but is not limited to content development for both online and offline, communications and engagement work and general administrative support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Produce clear and engaging written content including news and success stories.
  • Support the delivery of internal and external communications throughout the agency.
  • Support on the delivery of engagement activities for Credo Care’s foster families and young people.
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing & Promotions Officer
  • Support with the coordination of recruitment webinars and events.
  • Assist with the creation and sending of email campaigns.
  • Support the Marketing and Promotions Officer with activities relating to the recruitment of foster carers.

About You:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Good judgement skills, flexibility, creativity, and sensitivity in response to changing situations and needs.
  • Good organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently with office based and remote based teams, and to adapt to a varied workload.
  • Be IT literate and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes and data handling.
  • A good standard of education (GCSE standard, grade C or above to include Maths and English).
