Credo Care is a long-established and leading Independent Fostering Agency. We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Support Worker to assist a young male, who isΒ a wheelchair user, with his morning personal care routine. Duties will include:

  • Supporting with showering and dressing
  • Helping him get ready for school
  • Using a hoist

Requirements for the role:

  • You will have previous experience caring for children or young adults with additional needs and be committed to provide outstanding care.
  • You must be IT literate with a good standard of written communication as you will be required to submit, via our online systems, concise and accurate reports on work with the children.
  • You must be a UK resident with the right to live and work in the UK.

Hours

06.30 – 07.30 Monday – Friday during school term time, with additional hours available at weekends and during school holidays.

Pay

Β£13.50 per hour (pay rise pending) for direct client time & travelling time to and from home to work, in addition to 0.45p per mile travelled for all journeys. This rate also applies to:

  • travel to/from the place to undertake the work
  • your supervision time with your SSW (generally an hour)
  • training (generally an hour for online training courses)
