- Review Medical Assessments of prospective foster carers on paper which occurs prior to panel so will be around six to eight times per year and the time spent on each one will vary depending on the amount of information to be assessed.

Credo Care Fostering is an Ofsted Registered Outstanding fostering agency specialising in providing family based foster care to children with additional needs, disabilities and medical needs who are Looked After in Care.
We are recruiting an Agency Medical Advisor, whose primary role is to evaluate medical information of prospective foster carers and existing foster carers, when their medicals are renewed and give a view to the fostering assessment team about the applicants’ health needs that will inform the decision about their suitability as foster carers for children being placed or cared for by them.
The Medical Advisor would be a member of the fostering panel central list, although this does not require attendance at panel meeting. We are looking for somebody who is interested in in this field of work and who is a Registrar, Consultant or GP.
